The first three seconds decide whether anyone stays. Every edit I make is built around that moment: a clear hook, text hierarchy that reads at a glance, and pacing where each cut has to earn its place.
Since 2022 I have edited short-form video for high-profile creators and agencies, delivering 15+ reels, TikToks and Shorts every week on tight deadlines. Real estate breakdowns, podcast cutdowns, event recaps, UGC and ads each get their own rhythm.
Sound is half the edit. Voice cleanup, layered sound effects and motion graphics are part of the cut from the first pass, so picture, rhythm and audio land together.

Retention is engineered, not hoped for. I plan the hook, the visual framing and the micro-animations before the first cut, then tune the pacing against how people actually watch.
I also work on the script side: structure, storyboarding and pacing notes before and during post-production, so the edit has something strong to carry.

Hi, I'm Amir. I shape stories out of raw footage, somewhere past 963 of them at this point, and my timeline has probably seen more of me than my family has.
I started editing in 2022. What I love is the part nobody notices: when a cut lands just right, the music sits where it should, and the whole thing simply feels good, even if the viewer can’t say why. If they didn’t notice the edit but felt the story, I did my job.
I’m fascinated by the psychology behind why some videos blow up and others don’t, why we stop scrolling, and why something makes us feel something. That makes me put things at the right time and place, not just to fill the screen.
Away from the screen, music is my thing. I write songs and sing, mostly because I can’t help it. Persian is my native tongue; I also speak English fluently.
